Franck Voelkl

Franck Voelkl is a renowned senior perfumer at Firmenich, born in Germany and raised in Paris, where he developed an early appreciation for fine fragrance. He pursued his passion by studying at the prestigious ISIPCA perfumery school in Versailles and later trained in New York. Throughout his career, Voelkl has collaborated with a diverse array of global brands, ranging from prestigious luxury houses and prominent designers to innovative niche fragrance lines.

Known for his versatility and ability to blend emotional resonance with modern appeal, Voelkl has composed numerous widely recognized fragrances. His most famous and celebrated creation is Santal 33 for Le Labo, a cult-favorite scent that defined modern woody-ambrette perfumery. His impressive portfolio also includes notable works such as Glossier You, Marc Jacobs Daisy (co-created with Alberto Morillas), and several creations for brands like Tom Ford, Kenneth Cole, and Ermenegildo Zegna.
