Albert Fouquet
Albert Fouquet was a French aristocrat and amateur perfumer active in the early 20th century. Operating out of his family’s château, he reportedly blended fragrances for his own personal use and for a small circle of socialites, most famously creating the scent that would later be marketed as Eight & Bob.
Fouquet is best known for his association with the Eight & Bob brand, which revived his historical formulas. His most recognized creation, according to company lore, is the fragrance that caught the attention of John F. Kennedy during a trip to the French Riviera, leading to the name and legacy of the brand's signature scent.
