1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Scenters. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Scenters website located at https://scenters.com/ and any related features or services (collectively, the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

We may update these Terms from time to time as described in the “Changes to the Service and Terms” section below. Your continued use of the Service after any changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Description of the Service

Scenters is an online price-comparison and affiliate-link directory for fragrances and perfumes. We help shoppers discover and compare prices for fragrance products offered by third-party retailers, and we provide links that direct you to those retailers’ websites.

Scenters is not a seller, merchant, or retailer. We do not sell, stock, ship, or fulfill any products. We do not process payments, handle orders, or provide customer service for any purchase.

  • All products are sold by independent third-party retailers.
  • All purchases, payments, shipping, returns, refunds, warranties, and customer service are handled entirely by those third-party retailers, not by Scenters.
  • Scenters acts solely as an intermediary that aggregates publicly available pricing information and links you to the retailers’ own websites.

3. Accuracy of Prices, Availability and Product Information

Prices, availability, product descriptions, images, brand names, and other product details displayed on the Service are provided by or derived from third-party retailers and affiliate networks. This information may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or different from what appears on the retailer’s website at the time of purchase.

Because pricing and availability can change frequently and without notice, the information shown on Scenters is for general comparison and reference purposes only. You must verify the current price, availability, product details, and all terms of sale directly on the retailer’s website before making any purchase. The price and details shown on the retailer’s checkout page govern your transaction, not the information shown on Scenters.

4. Affiliate Relationships and Commissions

Scenters participates in affiliate marketing programs through CJ Affiliate (Commission Junction). This means that when you click a link on our Service and make a qualifying purchase on a third-party retailer’s website, Scenters may earn a commission.

  • These commissions come at no extra cost to you.
  • The presence of an affiliate relationship does not influence the prices you pay on the retailer’s site.
  • We do not guarantee that every product or retailer listed is part of an affiliate program, nor that any particular link is an affiliate link.

5. Third-Party Websites

The Service contains links to websites operated by third parties. When you follow a link to a third-party retailer or other external site, you leave Scenters and your use of that site is governed by that party’s own terms of service, privacy policy, and other policies.

Scenters does not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for the content, products, services, pricing, fulfillment, or practices of any third-party website. Any transaction you enter into with a third-party retailer is solely between you and that retailer. You should review the applicable retailer’s terms and policies before transacting with them.

6. No Warranty / “As Is”

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Scenters disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.

Without limiting the foregoing, Scenters does not warrant that:

  • the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or available at any particular time or location;
  • the prices, availability, or product information shown will be accurate, complete, or current;
  • any products linked through the Service will meet your expectations or be of satisfactory quality; or
  • any defects or errors in the Service will be corrected.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Scenters and its owners, operators, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the Service.

In particular, and without limitation, Scenters shall not be liable for:

  • any inaccuracy in prices, availability, or product information;
  • any purchase, transaction, dispute, delay, damage, defect, non-delivery, or other issue arising from your dealings with a third-party retailer; or
  • any decision you make based on information provided through the Service.

To the extent that liability cannot be excluded, the total aggregate liability of Scenters arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (USD $100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above may not apply to you.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, text, graphics, layout, logos, and other original content created by Scenters, is owned by Scenters or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our content without our prior written permission.

Product names, brand names, trademarks, logos, and product images displayed on the Service are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification and comparison purposes only. Their appearance on the Service does not imply any affiliation with or endorsement by those owners.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

  • use the Service in any way that violates any applicable law or regulation;
  • access, scrape, harvest, or copy data from the Service using automated means without our prior written consent;
  • attempt to interfere with, disrupt, overload, or compromise the security or integrity of the Service;
  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its underlying systems;
  • use the Service to transmit malware, spam, or other harmful or unsolicited content; or
  • misuse the price-alert feature, including by submitting email addresses you do not own or control.

10. Optional Price-Alert Email Service

Scenters offers an optional email “price alert” feature that allows you to receive notifications about price changes for selected products. Use of this feature is voluntary.

  • By submitting your email address, you consent to receive automated price-alert emails relating to the products you select.
  • Price alerts are based on third-party data that may be delayed, inaccurate, or out of date; you must always verify current pricing on the retailer’s website before purchasing.
  • We do not guarantee the delivery, timeliness, frequency, or accuracy of any alert.
  • You may unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link in any alert email or by contacting us. Your use of this feature is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to the Service and Terms

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We may also add, remove, or change listed retailers, products, or features at our discretion.

We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Material changes may be communicated through the Service where appropriate. Your continued use of the Service after the revised Terms take effect constitutes your acceptance of them.

12. Governing Law

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or the Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Virginia, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the State of Virginia, United States for the resolution of any such dispute, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that may apply to you.
