Gerard Anthony is a celebrated French perfumer who spent the majority of his distinguished career at the fragrance house Interparfums. Throughout his tenure, he became known for his technical precision and his ability to define the olfactory landscape of the late 20th century, particularly within the designer and prestige fragrance sectors.

He is perhaps best known for composing the iconic masculine fragrance Azzaro Pour Homme (1978), a foundational fougère that remains a benchmark in perfumery. His portfolio also includes significant contributions to brands such as Boucheron and Balmain, where he demonstrated a versatile approach to blending classic structures with modern sensibilities.
