Keiko Mecheri

Keiko Mecheri is a Japanese-born perfumer and co-founder of the niche fragrance house Les Parfums de Rosine and her eponymous brand, Keiko Mecheri. Originally a painter, she transitioned into the world of perfumery after moving to Los Angeles, where she began developing artisanal scents characterized by their minimalist elegance and high-quality raw materials.
Her work is noted for blending traditional French perfumery techniques with Japanese aesthetic sensibilities, often focusing on singular, evocative themes. Among her best-known creations are fragrances such as Loukhoum, Attar de Roses, and Datura Blanche, which are celebrated for their sophisticated compositions and atmospheric, often nostalgic, profiles.
