Before joining the world of professional fragrance composition, she pursued a background in art history and fine arts, a creative foundation that continues to influence her approach to scent. She completed her formal training at the IFF Perfumery School in New York, where she was mentored by master perfumers.

She has composed fragrances for a diverse range of brands, including niche houses like Byredo, Vilhelm Parfumerie, and Amouage, as well as various luxury labels.
