Martin Gras
Martin Gras was a prominent French perfumer who spent much of his career with the fragrance and flavor house International Flavors & Fragrances (IFF). Known for his technical precision and influence during the latter half of the 20th century, he played a significant role in developing fragrances for both designer and luxury brands.
His most notable creations include the iconic masculine scent Azzaro Pour Homme, co-created with Gérard Anthony and Richard Wirtz, as well as Van Cleef & Arpels Pour Homme. His work is often characterized by a mastery of traditional fougère structures and a sophisticated approach to blending classic aromatic and woody notes.
