Mathilde Thomas is a French entrepreneur and the co-founder of the skincare and fragrance brand Caudalie. While she is not a classically trained "nose" in the traditional sense of composing raw materials, she acts as the creative director and lead visionary for the brand's olfactory identity, working closely with master perfumers to develop the company's fragrance line.

Her approach to fragrance is deeply rooted in the philosophy of vinotherapy and the natural botanicals found in the vineyards of Bordeaux. She is best known for overseeing the creation of Caudalie’s signature scents, including the iconic Fleur de Vigne, which emphasizes fresh, clean, and nature-inspired compositions that align with the brand’s focus on clean beauty and antioxidant-rich ingredients.
