Matthieu Nardin

Matthieu Nardin is a contemporary French perfumer who developed his craft at the Grasse-based fragrance house Robertet. Growing up in a family of perfumers in Grasse, he was exposed to the industry from a young age, eventually refining his skills through a rigorous apprenticeship and formal training within the Robertet laboratories.

Known for a style that balances technical precision with modern, evocative compositions, Nardin has collaborated with a diverse array of brands, including Miller Harris, Pierre Guillaume, and Goutal. His portfolio features notable creations such as Miller Harris’s Secret Gardenia and Scherzo, the latter of which is widely regarded for its complex, vibrant interpretation of floral and chypre accords.
