Robert Piguet

Robert Piguet (1898–1953) was a Swiss perfumer and founder of the luxury fragrance house Parfums Robert Piguet, established in 1924 in Paris. Though he trained as a chemist, Piguet became known for his refined aesthetic and his ability to collaborate with talented "noses" rather than compose fragrances himself. He was instrumental in creating the brand's identity through careful curation and direction.

The house is best remembered for classic fragrances developed under Piguet's stewardship, including several that remain iconic in perfumery. Piguet was also known for his close work with fashion designer Coco Chanel and for establishing the brand as a purveyor of sophisticated, elegant scents. His legacy endures through the continued presence of Parfums Robert Piguet in the luxury fragrance market.
