Sylvaine Delacourte

Sylvaine Delacourte is a prominent figure in the fragrance industry, best known for her long-standing tenure at Guerlain, where she served as the Director of Fragrance Evaluation and Development for over 15 years. During her time at the house, she played a pivotal role in the creation of numerous iconic perfumes and worked closely with renowned noses to shape the brand's contemporary olfactory identity. She was instrumental in the development of collections such as L’Art et la Matière and the Aqua Allegoria line.

In 2016, she launched her own eponymous niche perfume house, Sylvaine Delacourte Paris. Her independent work is characterized by a focus on high-quality raw materials and a modern, minimalist approach to classical fragrance families, notably centered around thematic collections featuring musk, vanilla, orange blossom, and iris.
