Yves de Chirin is a French perfumer who spent a significant portion of his career as a senior perfumer at Quest International, which was later acquired by Givaudan. His professional background is deeply rooted in the classic French school of perfumery, characterized by a technical precision that has allowed him to contribute to both mainstream designer fragrances and niche compositions.

Among his most notable creations is the iconic 1990s fragrance Angel by Thierry Mugler, which he co-created with Olivier Cresp, effectively pioneering the gourmand fragrance category.
